The Challenge
A major metropolitan area sought to accelerate its "Green City" initiative by encouraging widespread EV adoption. The primary obstacle was a significant lack of public charging infrastructure, leading to "range anxiety" among potential EV buyers. They required a partner to plan, source, and deploy a scalable, future-proof charging network.
Our Strategic Solution
Pinnacle conducted a full-scale turnkey solution. This began with strategic site assessments to identify optimal locations in high-traffic commercial zones and residential areas. We sourced a mix of AC Level 2 and DC Fast Chargers to meet diverse user needs. Our team managed the entire deployment, including grid integration analysis, installation by certified partners, and the implementation of a centralized network operating software for monitoring and payment processing.
The Outcome
The new network provided 99.8% uptime in its first year and was utilized by thousands of unique drivers, significantly boosting public confidence in EV ownership. The city gained valuable usage data to plan future expansion, and Pinnacle established a benchmark for large-scale municipal EV infrastructure deployment.
